COM-Q System Measuring Patient & Client Experience & Outcomes
Our unique web-based measurement system
CoMetrica has developed a unique web-based database to support the measurement services provided to health and care organisations. Using secure access from any internet point, organisations can change the measures they are using for which patients and clients and see the results daily in real time.
Key features of the COM-Q system
Use Standard measures including validated PROMS. We can research available PROMS for you from international sources.
The system holds many standard experience and clinical (PROM) measures from which users can choose for individual groups of patients. Using a simple point & click interface, users can see their own data categories and use these to select which groups get which measures.
With COM-Q, you don't waste your patients time asking them data you already know about them. This is already in the system linked to their reponse so you can get straight on with the important questions.
Match measures to discrete groups of patients
The sophisticated matching engine means patients are only asked questions relevant to them and their condition. For example, elective patients who also happen to be diabetic can automatically be asked questions about their diabetes management during their stay. This flexible system can be used to carefully match experience as well as clinical questions relevant to each patient at each stage of their pathway.
Add your own questions and measures
You can choose any of the measures already in the question bank and you can add you own. Users can choose to publish question sets and share benchmarks.
Choose from many types of questions including images
The system is unique in being able to use image based questions. These can be psychological prompts, clinical images or graphics suitable for children, patients with learning disabilities or mental illness.
Follow up patients after treatment
Patients and clients can be measured at multiple census points even without them attending. This can be used to follow-up treatments longer term.
Configure a content specific mail-merged covering letter
The covering letter can be configured with different content for different patients and is matched in the same way as questionnaires. Letters can be used to manage other feedback channels such as focus groups and interviews.
High response rates
By having patient specific and clinical content, response rates are high forming the majority of patients rather than self-selecting samples. Patients and clients can respond on-line themselves or on paper which still remains very popular for many patients.
View real-time results anywhere via secure internet. Results are live using a graphical based interface with one click export to Word, Excel, printed reports and PDFs which can be emailed. This includes patient & client comments which can be viewed daily by the relevant service departments .
Change questions, measures and scope in real-time
Since there are no devices to program or pre-printed questionnaires, measures can be changed as often as required with no limit on number of questions.
